Mid-Am Building Supply is looking for an IT Coordinator to work onsite at our Moberly, MS location and support all hardware and networks to facilitate the flow of data for the business. Hardware will include but not limited to: PC’s, laptops, printers, scanners, switches, phone system, security cameras and more to support many software applications.

What will you do in this role?

• Set-up and install computer hardware and software including scan guns, mobile devices, printers, and related peripherals.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on computer hardware including backup, recovery and equipment cleaning.
• Respond to and resolve difficult inquiries and complaints.
• Train users on computer hardware/software and other electronic office equipment.
• Monitor operational performance and troubleshoot system problems. Isolate the cause of system failures.
• Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of information systems; research products and enhancements and their applicability of company needs.
• Interact with various outside support and sales organizations.
• Research computer, network and other electronic office equipment hardware/software.
• Design, install, support and integrate network hardware, operating systems and applications.
• Some afterhours work and travel will apply

What are we looking for?

• Associates degree preferred or three years of experience in related field.
• 3-years’ experience in development and administration of computers and networks. Experience in network operating systems, networking standards, computer/network hardware and system design are desirable.
• Proficiency in PC maintenance, networking, applications such as Microsoft Office, Security Camera Systems, Distribution ERP Systems are a plus.
• Clear and concise written/oral communication skills.
• Good customer service skills to deal with all types of people. Constantly learning new computer trends.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Salary range for this role will be discussed in the interview process and is commiserate with experience.
