Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teller/Operations Manager to lead our tellers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to analyze customer feedback and solve problems, be able to delegate duties in the customer service area, be responsible for training and customer support decisions.
Essential Duties (not comprehensive)
- Ensure the Operation's policies and procedures are followed (i.e. Check Cashing, Bank Secrecy, CIP inclusion, Dormant Accounts, and Vault Access Policies.
- Primary person for opening new accounts. Provides leadership and training for account procedures.
- Provides ongoing communication to keep all tellers aware of changes that impact their work environment.
- Processes various transactions for customers as backup teller as necessary.
- Have a high level of understanding of services offered at the bank.
Qualifications
- 5 years of banking experience.
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technology used for bank operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for assessing information and making informed decisions.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to work in person at our Lawrence branch.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
