Position Overview
- Under limited supervision responsible for project control cost activities in support of engineering, materials management, construction, start-up and operations to support the DUF6 conversion project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Functional:
- Assists in gathering, researching, and interpreting data utilizing the organization's financial systems
- Aids in the identification of areas of vulnerability and situations that may lead to project financial impact
- Supports the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for small projects
- Refers to and interprets basic drawings and specifications to assist in establishing project baseline
- Contributes to fundamental analysis of cost and schedule variances
- Assists in contributing key components and data used in trending and forecasting
- Participates in the collection of progress data and review of performance trends
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School and/or Associate’s Degree
- 0-2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential
