Receptionist/Tech

Mid America Rehab is seeking a full-time front desk receptionist and physical therapy technician (as needed) to work in our Cape Girardeau, Missouri clinic.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: The ideal candidate should be dedicated, and hard-working, with a friendly and outgoing personality and a passion for patient care. Must be compassionate, have excellent communication skills, and be able to multi-task. Computer skills and the ability to utilize basic programs including Microsoft Office are required. Must have the ability to learn new programs as needed. Experience in a busy healthcare setting is a plus.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients. This position includes moderate daily lifting. Pre-employment testing is required, and the candidate must pass a background screen.

Responsibilities:

As a front desk receptionist, you will be primarily checking patient eligibility, attending phone calls, and scheduling patients.

As a physical therapy technician, you will be responsible for assisting our Physical Therapists with tasks that are indirectly related to patient care, including cleaning equipment, and preparing treatment areas.

Functions under the direct supervision of the Office Manager, Physical Therapists, and Clinic Director(s).

Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the standards and values of Mid America Rehab
