What You'll Do
An Indirect Loan Officer is responsible for evaluating and approving/declining credit applications from Indirect Auto Dealers. Applicants will be forwarded from point of purchase transactions through independent automobile dealerships. Also responsible for developing new business and expands existing Dealer relationships. Duties include:
Applicants must be able to make sound lending decisions based upon underwriting and documentation requirements. When appropriate and necessary the Indirect Loan Officer will contact the Finance Manager (or the appropriate contact at a particular dealership) and communicate the credit decision.
Assist in the processing of Indirect dealer funding packages received in the mail and electronically. Verify all information and documents for accuracy and prepare packet for funding. Assist with funding loan documents in the system as needed.

What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Education - High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience - Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Need to have proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Outlook software (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to multi task.
- Organizational skills
