What are the responsibilities and job description for the Storeroom Support-General Laborer position at Mid Ark Environmental Services, Inc.?
Local company is hiring for storeroom support position performing a variety of tasks throughout the workday on plant site. This is a contractor position working on site at a hazardous waste disposal industrial plant.
Position will be a day shift, Monday through Friday--candidate should be available to work 40 hours per week and have reliable transportation. Position will require physical activity to perform tasks and will involve lifting, pushing and/or pulling. Candidate should be able to lift/maneuver at least 50 pounds.
Job Tasks to include:
- Load / Unload deliveries -- Must be able to lift and move boxes
- Must be able to get certified on forklift (previous experience a plus)
- Stocking/organizing inventory items in storeroom
- Delivering materials/items to the different departments within plant
- Some computer skills: storeroom software is site specific--training will be provided
Helpful skills for position include good communication, ability to multi-task and follow directions, time management with attention to details, good work ethic, and a positive teamwork disposition.
