What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Branch Manager position at Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply?
The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with directing all aspects of the branch to include distribution and inventory control, branch sales, and ensuring customer service standards. Must have experience leading a team, excellent communication skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the maintenance of annual objectives and budgets for the branch based off of historical data, operational need, and customer demand
- Work closely with Office Administrator to ensure that all customer orders are placed, scheduling is set, and billing is up to date in the system
- Build work relationships with staff to maintain a high level of customer service and support in a positive team-oriented branch environment that matches the company’s mission and values
- Recognize employee achievements and encourage excellence through employee engagement
- Assist with loading, stocking, and filing as needed
- Promote positive customer and vendor relationships to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
- Ensure staff are following safe work practices, completing job duties efficiently and that adequate support is provided
- Adhere to high ethical and professional standards set forth by the company
- Interact with customers and leaders on a regular basis to ensure client satisfaction and promote improved services
