Counter Sales
Job Duties:
- To process walk-in customer sales: generate sales ticket and complete transactions.
- Answer incoming phone calls and distribute to appropriate person/s
- Operate the key cutting machine for lock orders.
- Balance the monetary register receipts daily and generate a daily report.
- Responsible for the organization of inventory in the Counter area.
- Participate in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock.
- Restock shelves as needed.

Job Requirements:
- Must have good communication skills.
- Functional literacy with personal computers and the MS Windows operating system is required. Good keyboarding and 10-key skills needed. Experience with, and efficient use of standard office equipment (phone, fax, printer, copier, scanner, postage machine) is required.
- The physical requirements for this job include (working inside); sitting at a desk and walking/ standing on a tiled or carpeted surface in a climate-controlled area for much of the work shift. Stair climbing is required. All motor skills normally used in grasping, lifting, bending, turning, and carrying (up to 50 lbs.) are necessary. Correctable vision and hearing are needed.
- Must be able to understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to follow multi-step instructions.
- Flexibility in required in working with fellow co-workers and customers.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in construction and/or building materials preferred
