Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:
MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP
- Supervises and supports center staff and volunteers.
- Models leadership behavior and teamwork.
- Accurately completes, monitors, and maintains required records.
- Ensures that every year, there are written site plans. Site plans will be monitored and updated as needed.
- Monitors and supports staff weekly with their priorities, time management/schedules, and completion of all agency requirements.
- Documents interactions with and observations of staff throughout the year to utilize in each employee’s annual evaluation.
- In accordance with MCCC policies and procedures, delivers verbal warnings, written warnings, and performance improvement plans to direct reports as needed. Site Manager will be in direct contact with their supervisor and Human Resources in these cases.
- Completes all employee Performance Evaluations with 95% being submitted on time.
- Reviews employee timesheets multiple times per week to ensure they are filled out accurately and in real time; approves all biweekly timesheets on time.
- Receives various documents from staff, ensures completion and accuracy of said documents, and submits them to all necessary departments.
- Ensures a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the program’s environment.
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
- Monitors approved learning activities and environments that support school readiness.
- Engages families in all aspects of the program including, but not limited to, Policy Council, parent committees, classroom volunteers, family engagement events, etc.
- Collaborates with appropriate team and community members on a regular basis to assess and aid children and families in meeting goals, providing services, and responding appropriately to any crisis or emergency situations.
- Coordinates student recruiting efforts to ensure full enrollment.
- Provides back-up classroom coverage when teachers are out of the office and provides coverage as needed for daily staff breaks and lunches.
FISCAL
- Orders and maintains center supplies.
- Completes all purchasing reviews and approvals at least twice per week in SAGE and CONCUR.
- Completes monthly Visa report in CONCUR and submits to the Finance department no later than the 15th of each month.
- Ensures inventory of center supplies is conducted and submitted to the Central Office accounting department by June 30th.
OTHER
- Performs all other work-related duties as assigned.
