THE POSITION…
As a D365 F&SCM Solutions Architect, you will be the technical resource for the customer and IT team. You will contribute to technical solution designs and implementation plans within the D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) platform. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to create an overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. You’ll be part of the reason our customers consider us a premier instrument, avionics, and aircraft power solutions provider.
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a two-year technical degree combined with relevant experience.
- You have a minimum 3 years functional experience with AX/D365 F&SCM, CE, ERP; Finance/Order Management/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Customer Engagement modules (Items, BOMs, etc.).
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft cloud storage platforms including BYOD, Data Lake, and Synapse.
- You have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical solutions.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused, and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)
- You have functional knowledge of Azure DevOps change control process
- You have a working knowledge in D365 F&SCM-related development tools including X , SSRS, Visual Studio, XML, C#, and SQL Server.
- You have system administrator experience.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…
- Collaborate with the implementation project team and users to design and develop Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM/CE solutions
- Work with developers in designing Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM/CE solutions, reports, screens, and other Dynamics, Power Platform, or Azure services
- Participate in impact assessments of requested changes in collaboration with Business Analysts, System Administrators, and Consultants
- Modify D365 F&SCM/CE user interface and business logic based on established business requirements
- Conduct debugging, unit testing, and integration testing of F&SCM/CE solutions and integrations
- Maintain code via Azure DevOps source control, manage build and release pipelines via ADO, and oversee deployments via LCS
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs, development tasks, and execute to implementation
- Collaborate with IT team members to enhance D365 knowledge, improve consistency and methodologies for high-quality delivery processes
