What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Setup position at Mid Continent Spring?
Day Shift Position, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, 40-hour week.
Must be able to pass a Mechanical Comprehension Test.
The Setup Technician is responsible for CNC setup and ensuring parts meet blueprint and quality standards in a manufacturing environment to make springs. This role works closely with Supervisors, Quality Control and Operators.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to those described herein:
- Inspect and adjust machinery to specification, according to process.
- Realign machine, change tooling, and adjust offsets.
- Recognize quality defects and collaborate with team to troubleshoot machine and part issues.
- Transfer manufacturing parts from one location to another via walking, ability to go up and down steps, and stand for 8 hours.
