Job Description:
The Adjunct Advanced Manufacturing Faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses in assigned disciplines, preparing for and delivering lectures, and assessing student academic achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned classroom courses, including PLC technologies, fluid power, hydraulics, mechanical controls, AC/DC, and blueprint reading.
- Develop and update syllabi, ensuring course content meets college and accreditation agency requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, hold office hours, and communicate regularly with faculty and staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings, in-service programs, and serve on college committees as encouraged.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in manufacturing, excellent teaching skills, and ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or equivalent, or 4,000 hours of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
- One year of teaching experience preferred, or 4,000 hours of professional work experience in the manufacturing industry.
