Directional Drill Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Directional Drilling Supervisor/Foreman to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in construction operations, particularly in horizontal drilling and heavy equipment operation. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This candidate should have minimum of 5 years experience and be familiar with every aspect of a directional boring job duty's such as drill operating, drill locating, utility potholing/daylighting, restoration for soft and hard scape. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on-site.
• Oversee horizontal drilling operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Operate heavy machinery including drills, excavators, and vac trucks as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the construction industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating Caterpillar machinery and other heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with construction site operations including building, paving, and grading processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage conflicts effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.

Pay: $32.00 - $52.00 per hour
