Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fiber Pulling Foreman to join our team in the Utility Construction industry. The ideal candidate must have 2 years experience placing fiber in aerial or underground jobs by either blowing or plling the fiber. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Duties
- Supervise the pulling of materials and supplies for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage inventory levels and maintain an organized storage area for easy access to materials.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and ProCore for tracking materials and project progress.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements based on project specifications.
- Assist in budgeting and estimating costs related to materials needed for contracts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site while handling materials.
- Provide training and support to team members regarding best practices in material handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting, construction estimating, and contract management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using construction management software, particularly Prolog and ProCore.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
