What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge/ Member Services position at Mid-Pacific Country Club?

JOB TYPE: Non-Exempt/ Hourly
BASIC FUNCTION: Our Concierge is the face of our Club which offers exceptional member and guest experiences by providing gracious and sincere customer service while embracing Aloha in all front-office-related areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet members and guests with a positive, helpful attitude while providing excellent customer service.
- Answer the telephone; transfer calls to proper extensions; take messages for members and staff.
- Manage Member Dining and Club Event reservations and reply with confirmations in a timely manner.
- Assist the Membership Director with administrative duties and any other tasks needed, i.e., issue car decals, file membership applications, update Member information, etc.
- Assist the Director of Communications with marketing and any other tasks needed, i.e., online calendar, etc.
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, creating documents, and other front desk-related duties as directed by each department head.
- Keep abreast of changes and remain knowledgeable of all club information and activities.
- Manage department schedules and other Club information and provide them to members and guests upon request.
- Fulfill Members’ requests,i.e., place phone calls, call for Uber or Taxi, and communicate requests where needed.
- Run on-site- or off-site errands when needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the reception area and manage supply inventories.
- Report trespassers, enforce dress code, and issue parking violations.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Manage Lost and Found programs and procedures.
- Assist with any additional projects as assigned.
- Knowlege of Canva to create flyers for the Club,
- Must be a team player with a great attitude.
- Must be fluent in English, reading and writing.
- Proficient in Word, Publisher, Excel, Microsoft Office, and other applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks at any given time.
- Display first-class customer service in person, through e-mail, and over the phone.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift 40 pounds.
HOURS / DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT / COMPENSATION:
- Weekends and holidays.
- Able to work Friday-Monday. Flexibility preferred.
- Compensation depending on availability and experience.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience preferred, but not necessary. Willing to train the right applicant with the right drive and the right attitude.
