Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Hours are subject to change based on financial and program requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in secretarial or office assistant program preferred.
- Experience in office management required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and maintains positive image through office and personal appearance.
- Responsible for managing the outreach office and equipment.
- Greet public in a business-like manner.
- Assist with completion of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) application and applicable reports. Agree to become a certified ROMA Implementer. Take responsibility for the creation of the community needs assessment and its completion.
- Attend ROMA subgroup meetings.
- Manage special projects such as the Back-to-School program and Holiday Families.
- Learn and implement client data systems and intake for agency programs and services.
- Staff other offices as necessary.
- Develop and carry out presentations to community organizations.
- Take client applications for agency programs, verify income, and notify client and vendors of eligibility.
- Assist clients with crisis situations, making referrals as necessary and completing follow through until the situation is resolved.
- Ensure that all client data remains confidential.
- Establish and maintain positive partnerships with area resource providers.
- Prepare and submit reports and time and expense sheets in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Assist with local fundraising efforts and public appearances.
- Learn and follow agency policies & procedures.
- Attend community meetings, trainings and conferences as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
