Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within an established company, working directly with OEMs and building lasting client relationships.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, focusing on potential customers who require welded and fabricated parts.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective OEM clients, acting as their primary point of contact for sales and service inquiries.
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and company objectives.
- Product Knowledge: Leverage in-depth knowledge of our welded and fabricated products to present tailored solutions to customers' needs.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Present company offerings, negotiate contracts, and close sales agreements. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key decision-makers.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal production team to ensure smooth transitions from quote to manufacturing and delivery.
- Reporting: Track and report sales activities, pipeline status. Provide regular feedback on market conditions and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, with a strong preference for experience in manufacturing, welding, fabrication, or related industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales accounts.
- A technical background or understanding of welded and fabricated parts is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed (local and regional).
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
