Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing partnerships, creating opportunities for service/re-roof quotes and adding strategic value with new and existing clients. This position needs to understand the customers' demands, determine how to meet those demands, and generate sales for Mid-South Roof Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, build and develop new opportunities for Mid-South Roof Systems
- Continually build relationships and business opportunities with both new and existing customers to ensure long-term relationships
- Qualify opportunities by assessing potential customer resources and obtaining capital budget availability
- Create solutions to customer problems by creating good/better/best scenarios
- Collaborate with multiple departments on a continual basis
- Relay accurate and detailed information regarding opportunities to both the Service and Estimating departments to ensure competitive quotes are generated
- Perform effective planning, organization and decision-making to attain desirable profit-making results
- Perform job site and office visits with customers as required to assist with determining options or alternatives, specific project requirements and to maintain long-term customer relationships
- Understand, utilize and maximize all facets of Dataforma
- Maintain client communication to ensure customer satisfaction with projects and service
- Gather market data (for example, successful competitor bids, new construction information, etc.)
- Submit sales activity reports, including lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, to the manager on a regular basis
- Attend regular networking events
- Work within individual budget guidelines
- Creation of campaigns to create increased sales opportunities
- Align with strategic organizations for industry exposure and support to current and prospective customers
- Enhance customer confidence with MSRS tailored approach, identifying the specific needs of each individual account
- Event planning for relationship enhancement, including hosting, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 5 years of business development experience
- Construction industry experience (preferred)

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
