Material Handler (2nd Shift )

Job Location Mid-States Distributing LLC - Lees Summit DC - Lees Summit, MO

Schedule : Monday - Friday 3pm - 11 : 30p overtime as needed

Compensation : Make $40,000 or more first year

What You Will Do :

Performs the necessary tasks to ensure inventory is received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately. Must be detail-oriented, accurate and able to follow directions. The position requires the ability to work well within a team and exercise good judgment in all aspects of the work. This is a physical, hands on role that drives warehouse equipment about 25% or the time.

• Work safely in an industrial warehouse environment
• Operate equipment as trained in a safe manner (ex : sit-down forklift, order picker, pallet riders)
• Interact professionally with leadership and co-workers in accordance with company core values
• Perform various functions in other departments around the building as business dictates
• Perform tasks with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks
• Perform tasks as trained and as efficiently as possible to meet production expectations
• Be present for all scheduled work shifts without a track record of calling out from work
• Perform other duties as assigned including duties outside normal responsibilities as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
