Sales and Preconstruction Lead - Milwaukee, WI Region
Full Time
The Role:
The Sales and Preconstruction Lead plays a key role in the organization's ability to generate income and revenue through outstanding sales experiences. They ask thoughtful questions to identify essential information and communicate clearly.
This person is a strategic thinker – able to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals, adapt to changing markets, and understand the business implications of their decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction.
This position will spend approximately 20% of their time traveling to customers. A majority of customers for the region are within a 90 minute drive radius around Milwaukee.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of previous experience working in the construction space (sales, engineering, design, project management, or field)
- Demonstrated ability to present/speak effectively in group settings
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience supporting sales or high-level customer interactions
- Customer management database experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, civil engineering, or related field
- PMP or another project management certification
- Previous experience working in the building systems industry or hands-on in the construction space
