POSITION : Marketing & Brand Specialist

Location : 15300 W Jensen Ave., Kerman, CA, 93630

Rate of Pay : $28-$32 per Hour DOE

Schedule : 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday, Extended Hours and / or Weekends may be needed)

Class : Non-Exempt (Hourly)

JOB SUMMARY :

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Brand Specialist to lead and support marketing initiatives, internal communications, event planning, and brand management. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and technical skills to design printed materials, manage digital content, social media, website updates, event coordination, and brand integrity. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years direct experience in marketing-related roles, has excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and can effectively collaborate with various lines of business (LOBs).

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Marketing & Graphic Design

Design compelling marketing materials, including flyers and presentations, for internal and external audiences.

Capture photos and video at various internal and external events.

Gather and compile content from multiple LOBs to create engaging presentations for external use.

Manage photo / video catalog of company related content.

Internal Communications

Understand the diverse employee audience across multiple locations.

Maintain a company messaging calendar that includes printed flyers, text messages and video recordings.

Manage the database for company-wide text blasts.

Collaborate across LOBs to plan appropriate messaging campaigns.

Website & Social Media Management

Identify, create, and update digital content across all platforms – TV, radio, website, and social media.

Manage website design and updates to ensure a seamless user experience.

Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms.

Event Planning & Support

Maintain and support an internal / external events calendar for various LOBs.

Attend events to capture images and video content for use in marketing materials, social media, and the website.

Brand Management

Ensure proper internal and external usage of company logos, maintaining consistency across different locations, departments, formats and materials.

Monitor and manage branded merchandise inventory for community appearances; collaborate with Mid Valley Disposal Leadership Team (MVDLT) on needs for ordering merchandise.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with local vendors to support marketing initiatives.

Budget Management

Track and manage expenses for all internal and external marketing activities.

Develop budget projections for marketing projects and events.

REPORTING STRUCTURE :

This position reports to : Director of Administration

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field is required.

Experience :

3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design.

Knowledge & Skills :

Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Forms).

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

Experience with website design and management.

Knowledge of video editing software.

Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.

General IT knowledge to support digital marketing and event needs.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in event planning and coordination.

Familiarity with social media analytics and digital marketing strategies.
