Description
The Part-Time Closing Aide works alongside the Assistant Teacher to close the classroom in the evening. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment, assisting with daily activities, supporting children’s growth, and fostering positive relationships with families. This role operates under the direction of the Child Development Director and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.Key responsibilities:Assist with end-of-day classroom activities and closing procedures.Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and safe for children.actively engage with children in recreational and learning activities.Support the Assistant Teacher in maintaining schedules and routines. And Build positive relationships with children, their
families and staff.
Qualifications
- Hold current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. ( Must obtain within 90 days of employment)
- Age requirement: 16 years or older.
- At least 2 years working with young children preferably.
- Pass a criminal background check.
Work Schedule:
Part time shift is from 3:00PM - 6:00PM. Occasional attendance at family events on the weekends is required and
monthly staff meetings on Fridays.
Salary : $16
