What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polk County Rapid Re-Housing Program Coordinator - The ARCHES Project position at Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency?
This Program Coordinator provides direct support to Program Management, guiding staff to proper procedures and processes, working to streamline existing processes, processing bill payments to landlords, monitoring grant spend down, and verifying data entry collection. The person in this role will answer funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questions for team staff and clients. This is a grant-funded position aimed at providing case management and rental assistance to chronically homeless individuals and families in the Polk Counties. This position will provide support to the Program Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree in Human Services or a related field; two years grant compliance or social service experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree with two or more years of homeless service delivery experience.
- Preferences given to applicants who have experience being a team lead or acting in a leadership role.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Driver Qualification Status required for this position. Valid driver license with acceptable driving record for the past 3 years and insured vehicle available for use on the job.
- Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
- Guides staff to proper procedures and processes, working to streamline existing processes.
- Processes bill payments to landlords.
- Monitors grant spend down and verifies data entry collection. Monitors overall grant spending and maintains overall budget.
- Answers funding, eligibility, and grant compliance questions for team staff and clients.
- Creates and facilitates deposit only households.
- Serves as a team lead point person for staff or clientele questions regarding service delivery.
- Works with staff to maintain file compliance and a regular audit system.
- Provides training opportunities to new staff as it relates to their goals for growth within the agency.

- Close quarters, often with client population experiencing homelessness, substance abuse disorders, and/or severe and persistent mental illness, and/or unpredictable behavior.
- Indoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands.
- This position requires on-site work. Occasional remote work may be permissible.
- Exposures to trash and potential biohazards.
- Variable and flexible work hours and weekends.
