As an outside sales representative for MidAmerica Basement Systems, you will follow up on leads provided by our Customer Service team and Marketing department to sell products and services to current and new customers.

This position is an uncapped 100 % commission based sales opportunity with the largest basement waterproofing and repair company in the Midwest serving eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
We are currently looking to fill our next sales training taking place in early February 2025.Responsibilities
- Drives to customers’ home on pre-scheduled appointments.
- Builds professional rapport with customer and determines their desired outcomes.
- Carefully examines the customer’s home to provide an accurate diagnosis of the issue(s).
- Provides necessary recommendations to the customer that will resolve the issue(s).
- Provides estimate to the customer.
- Completes the sale with the customer.
- Follows up with the customer as needed.
- Resolves any issues that may arise with the customer post-sale.
- Attends and participates in the weekly sales meeting.
- Attends and participates in the weekly One Team meeting.
- Participates in ride-alongs from the Sales Manager and peers.
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Self generates leads.
- Meets or exceeds sales goals and other key performance indicators (KPI) set by the company.
- Provides a remarkable experience for homeowners and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of sales, marketing and Customer Service principles.
- 1 years of experience in residential real estate, home inspection, or home improvement industries is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred, but not required
- Ability to build great relationships
- Ability to run 1 appointment on Saturday
- Excellent listening, closing, and follow-up skills
- Ability to walk, kneel, and crawl
- A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Skill in operating computer software (we will train you)
- Being comfortable and confident with a 100% commission-based salary following a 6 week training period.
- Ability to use measurement tools
