MidAmerica National Bank, a locally owned financial institution in central Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Retail department as a full-time Personal Banker in McDonough County. Established in 1933, MidAmerica National Bank provides financial services to local communities through our branches located in Fulton, McDonough, and Marshall counties. We pride ourselves in making a positive impact on our customers and area communities.
We are currently accepting applications/resumes in McDonough County for a Personal Banker. This position provides personalized banking services to both individual and business customers while proactively promoting and selling bank products that seek to bring new business to the bank.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides outstanding customer service
- Pro-actively sells bank products including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc. for both individuals and businesses
- Cross-selling bank products or services to existing and potential customers
- Maintains high product knowledge by learning new selling techniques, new products, and market trends
- Consistently balances cash drawer independently
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree required
- Associate Degree Preferred
- 1 plus years of experience in retail banking or customer service experience
- High level of communication, sales ability, customer oriented, and accuracy
