MIDAS Council of Governments is a six-county regional planning agency located in Fort Dodge that operates two transit systems in a six-county region. MIDAS is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
- Organize files
- Process mail
- Answer phone calls
- Respond to client questions
- Provides backup to the Fiscal Officer
- Administers the Drug and Alcohol program
- Maintain an organized office space by managing supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years of increasingly responsible experience. One year if a bachelor degree is held.
- Knowledge of some accounting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
