Our client is a full-service accounting and tax firm. They have been expanding and now seek an experienced Client Controller to service several accounts.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, depends on experience
Office: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and review accounting and tax work.
- Provide monthly accounting for clients, including financial statement preparation, month-end close, account reconciliations & analysis, and journal entry preparation.
- Prepare federal and multi-state corporate and individual tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning for businesses and individuals.
Required skills & experience:
- Experience in a public accounting setting - handling tax and accounting for a vareity of clients
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including audit, tax, client bookkeeping, financial statement preparation
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA license - nice to have
