Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Strong telephone skills including a courteous telephone manner and knowledge of and experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Conduct eligibility screening, verify information and orient participants to the WIC program.
- Maintain office, medical and outreach supply inventory for the WIC program.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail, comfortable multi-tasking, flexibility, and ability to prioritize tasks are a must.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, adequate automobile insurance per state standards, and access to reliable transportation; compliance with MMCA policies pertaining to safe vehicle operation required.
- Prior to starting employment, must be able to pass a DHHS child Protective services record check, and motor vehicle record checks, that indicate no previous record of involvement with child abuse or exploitation and no disqualifying criminal or motor vehicle record that would preclude working with children.
This position is part-time 25 hours per week.
