Based On ExperienceLocation : Americus, GAServices Area / Programs : New BeginningsDescription of Duties : Clinician is an important member of our multi-disciplinary team, provides comprehensive assessments, individual, group counseling, family counseling, and other treatment modalities within an evidence-based framework. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations, and sound triage decisions. Actively contributes to the treatment center and organization through on-going collaborative efforts. Participation as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, developing and implementing client-centered treatment plans and goal setting for serviced individuals. Complies with required productivity requirement as set forth by immediate supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Transporting individuals served is a requirement.

Minimum Qualifications : Degree in a related field. Valid, Unrestricted Georgia Drivers License. Current GA state licensure or certification as a substance abuse / addiction counselor.Preferred Qualifications : Two years work experience in social services delivery (case management, outreach, prevention / education, individual assessments, group counseling). Two years substance abuse / addiction counseling experience that includes experience assessing and providing individual and group services. Computer proficient, keyboard proficient with basic computer and typing skills and have the ability to multi-task. CPR / First-aid / AED certification.Agency is an eligible worksite for the VA Education Benefit Program (Veterans)Agency is an eligible work site for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.Middle Flint Health and Wellness services the following 11 counties : Webster, Marion, Sumter, Schley, Taylor, Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Houston, Peach and Crawford.Middle Flint Health and Wellness is a Drug Free Workplace.
