JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the VP, Finance & Administration, the Coordinator, Business Office performs tasks to support the business office including functions of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, student finance, office services, and human resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field
- Two (2) years of experience serving as a bookkeeper, in a school Business Office or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in the areas of accounting, data entry into QuickBooks or equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills relating to staff, students, faculty, vendors, and other public entities
- Proficient using Microsoft Suite applications
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serves as primary contact person for the Business Office.
- Assist with Business Office and accounting functions as assigned by the VP, Finance & Administration.
- Oversee billing and collection of tuition for all school programs.
- Maintain student accounts within CampusCafe
- Assists with Business Office support and reporting for Nurse Faculty Loan Program
- Reviews accounts payable and enter for payment.
- Process accounts payable checks in coordination with VP, Finance & Administration.
- Prepare and process weekly bank deposits, including deposit detail report for G/L entry.
- Manages bi-weekly employees' timecards and prepares for payroll processing.
- Manages collection of salaried employees PTO summaries.
- Performs Financial Aid loan fund verification and authorizations for banking transfers.
- In coordination with Coordinator, Plant Operations oversee maintenance of campus buildings and grounds, vendor contact and purchasing of all office, recruiting/marketing, kitchen, etc. supplies.
- Assists with special School projects and events as assigned by VP, Finance & Administration.
- Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING
Reports to the Vice President, Finance & Administration
ATTENDANCE
Expected to be available and on campus during normal business hours of Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Conditions are generally those of a typical office environment, requiring frequent oral communication with students and colleagues, the ability to enter data and written communications in electronic format in a timely manner, and sufficient mobility to be present.
