Communications and Graphic Design Specialist (Full-Time 40 Hours)
Position Summary
We are hiring a dynamic Communications and Graphic Design Specialist who uses creativity and skill to bring ideas to life through design and content creation. In this role, you’ll focus on creating eye-catching visuals, writing engaging content, and contributing to digital and social media projects that enhance our brand and connect with our internal and external audiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Graphic Design
Develop visually engaging designs for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers/posters, invitations, programs, infographics, print and digital ads, and social media and web assets.
Prepare print projects and deliver to various internal and external resources for production
Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that align with brand guidelines.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to produce compelling multi-platform designs.
Maintain consistency in brand messaging across all visual content.
Communications
Create compelling short-form written content for various platforms, including brochures, flyers, and social media ads.
Contribute to communication strategies, conveying brand messaging to targeted audiences.
Work closely with a variety of departments across the health system to evaluate needs and make recommendations on communications initiatives.
Digital Design and Social Media
Design and optimize graphics for digital platforms, including websites, e-mail campaigns, and social media channels.
Contribute to social media accounts by creating content for both organic and paid posts.
Analyze social media performance and implement strategies to enhance reach and engagement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital design and social media.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop. Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro a plus).
Proficiency in writing and proofreading with attention to detail.
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
Healthcare experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
