What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Office Manager/Bookkeeper position at Middletown Mazda VW?
We are offering an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Automotive Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team. Please, all candidates MUST HAVE 2-3 years automotive dealership experience.
Some of the duties include and are not limited to:
- Auditing and maintaining deal paperwork and all back-up documentation
- Processing finance contracts and necessary paperwork for new & used vehicles
- Processing CVR, paying taxes and completing the license & title process
- Preparing lender packets and issuing pay-off checks for trade-ins
- Making updates to current reports and assisting in creation and maintenance of various financial reports
- Deposits & cash receipts
- Post Parts invoices and reconcile statements.
- Auditing and maintaining assigned schedules on a weekly basis.
- Processing of contracts via manufacturer's dealer portal for funding.
- Posting of deals, including Wholesale and Dealer Trades, to general ledger.
- Payoff checks for trade ins and purchases.
- Processing warranty and aftermarket products sold by the Finance Department.
- Accounts Payable - including factory parts invoices, and reconciliation of statements.
- Accounts Receivable - reconciliation and collection.
- Backup for stocking in New & Used Vehicle.
- Other duties as may be assigned by management
