UNIT AIDE (TEMP) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Engage positively with residents and monitor community areas as needed.
Prepare resident rooms for arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.
Escort residents to their rooms, introducing them to roommates and staff.
Make residents comfortable in their new environment.
Catalog and label residents' personal belongings.
Assist residents with packing when transferring or discharging.
Transport residents to new rooms or designated areas with care.
Maintain cleanliness by making beds and providing extra linens as needed.
Help residents prepare for activities and social programs.
Facilitate transportation throughout the facility, including meals and activities.
Assist with dining procedures, including handwashing and distributing beverages.
Support meal tray delivery and help residents with food options.
Provide assistance during transport back to units.
Collaborate with activity staff to ensure residents can participate in programs.
Supervise residents in outdoor areas during pleasant weather.
Promptly respond to resident calls and coordinate assistance as necessary.
Procure supplies for the unit as needed.
REQUIREMENTS :
No previous experience needed; healthcare experience such as TNA (Temp Nurse Aide), PCA (Personal Care Aide), HHA (Home Health Aide), or DSP (Direct Support Professional) is advantageous.
