Jumpstart your nursing career with us! We are excited to announce multiple certification programs for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) starting in 2025. As a Unit Aide (Temp) during your training, you'll receive hands-on experience while assisting CNAs and other team members with non-ADL tasks. Space is limited to less than 10 students per class, making this a unique opportunity!

Unit Aide (Temp) Job Responsibilities :
Foster positive interactions with residents and supervise communal areas.
Prepare the resident's room for their arrival (e.g., make the bed, ensure name tags are displayed, and admission kits are available).
Greet and escort residents to their rooms, introducing them to roommates and other personnel.
Ensure residents feel comfortable and welcomed.
Document and label residents' personal belongings.
Assist residents with packing personal items when transferring or discharging.
Transport residents to their new rooms or receiving areas.
Make and maintain beds, providing extra covers as requested.
Support residents in preparation for social activities.
Facilitate resident transport throughout the facility (e.g., to dining areas).
Assist residents at mealtimes, including handwashing and distributing beverages.
Help serve meals / trays, aiding residents as necessary.
Assist with transport back to their units post-meals.
Collaborate with activity staff to transport residents to programs.
Supervise residents in outdoor areas during pleasant weather.
Respond promptly to resident calls and coordinate appropriate assistance.
Procure supplies for the unit as needed.
Requirements :
No prior experience necessary; however, any previous healthcare experience such as Temp Nurse Aide (TNA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Direct Support Professional (DSP) will be beneficial.
