As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will :
Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within your LPN scope of practice.
Utilize nursing processes, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver exceptional direct resident care, ensuring safety and quality.
Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, while monitoring residents for desired or adverse effects.
Communicate and collaborate with team members to update Nursing Care Plans and address any pertinent findings or concerns.
Track and document vital signs, treatments administered, and residents' responses meticulously.
Prepare and oversee the delivery of care by coordinating CNA assignments, considering the needs of residents and the competencies of staff.
Requirements :
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
Current New York LPN License in good standing
Passion for providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
Ability to create a cooperative and enthusiastic environment conducive to rehabilitation and optimal health
Genuine interest in assisting diverse populations, including ill, injured, disabled, and elderly residents
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and with a harmonious team
Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; vaccination options will continue to follow CDC eligibility guidance
