Intervention Teacher- Middletown Springs Elementary School-Middletown Springs Elementary School is seeking a full time intervention teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position includes universal intervention in the classroom, small group targeted intervention, and 1:1 intervention across grades K-6 in the areas of reading and math. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
Knowledge of research-based best practices
Experience in or knowledge of collecting and analyzing data to collaborate with staff in determining best programming and interventions in both reading and math
Knowledge of the Common Core Standards in regard to high-priority concepts as a means to provide best instructional techniques that are specialized in content and process
Experience with or knowledge of the MTSS process
Experience in or knowledge of a Professional Learning Community
Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols
Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction
Evidence of integrating technology into the learning environment
Evidence of strong connection with students and families
Deep knowledge of reading, writing, and math
