Parts Counter Person
We are looking to hire a full-time Parts Counter Person to support our Parts Manager. They must be a SELF-MOTIVATED individual! This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys people, with good selling skills both in person, and over the phone. This is a fast paced, exciting and challenging position. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving and processing all parts orders
- Understand and control of parts inventory
- Creating bin locations for new stock
- Notify customer on parts arrival.
- Notify of shortage & damage discrepancies
- Processing accessories and shelving them
- Prepare items for returns and shipping
- Communicate with technicians about parts needs
- Bill correct parts to repair orders
- Processing Warranty scrap
- Keeping things in neat and orderly fashion
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the work day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work with others on the team to resolve issues
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Dealership and CDK experience preferred
- Must be able to explain technical information to the general public
- Knowledge of auto parts, and experience in an automotive repair, or related business environment, is preferred, but we will train the right person
- Must be available to work some Saturdays
- Must Have Clean Driving Record
- A stable work history and excellent references are needed
