Facilities Maintenance (General Labor)

Reports to: Service Lead and Store Manager

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled, general labor person to perform upkeep tasks such as general building maintenance, working in and around our various departments, cleaning, washing units, etc. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have basic technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

· Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.

· Perform minor fixes around our buildings

· Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.

· Conduct maintenance tasks (i.e. replacing light bulbs)

· Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment

· Washing various units across our dealership (i.e. vehicles, tractors)

· Collaborate with workers and other professionals

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Experience with another similar position

· Basic technical knowledge, experience using hand and electrical tools

· Ability to read technical manuals and drawings

· Very good communication and interpersonal skills

· Physical stamina and dexterity

· Required to work in all weather conditions

· May require additional hours than normal work week.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Willingness to have fun with others

FORKLIFT Certified (Preferred)
