Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Facility CNA / HHA to join our team in Topeka. As a Facility CNA / HHA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our hospice clients in local facilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients.
Employment Status: Full Time | Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, rotating weekends on call
Employment Location: Topeka
Pay: Starting at $14.70 /hr (pay is determined by certification and like experience)
SIGN ON BONUS | HHA - $1,500 | CNA - $1,000
Quarterly Bonus | $500

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide)
- Prior experience in a facility or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
Responsibilities:
- Assist Hospice clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health conditions to the nursing staff
- Administer medications under the guidance of licensed nursing staff
- Assist in transferring clients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document clients' care and progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
