Job Overview
As a Golf Starter/ Ranger, you will be an important part of daily operations on the golf course. Your responsibilities will include greeting and checking in all golfers for appropriate tee-times. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about golf, enjoy working with people, and possess strong communication skills.
Duties
- Work with golf shop to inspect tee-sheet for the day.
- Check golfers in at the tee box for appropriate tee-time.
- Assist in the enforcement of golf course dress code.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing members and guests and assisting to ensure proper pace of play.
- Communication with golf shop for any changes or discrepancies to tee-times.
- Occasionally make rounds on the course- managing pace-of-play
Requirements
- Previous experience in golf or golf knowledge is a plus.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Conflict management skills to handle member/guests concerns professionally and effectively.
- A passion for golf and outdoor activities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
