Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server-Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, food and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for following our recipes for craft cocktails, serving beverages, serving food and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of all food & drink items is a must.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
- Collaborate with catering staff for events, ensuring timely service during banquets or special occasions.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is required.
- Strong sales skills to promote drink features and food features to enhance guest experiences.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math for accurate financial transactions.
- Basic math skills to calculate drink recipes and manage tab totals.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards is a plus. All bartenders will need to go thru server training and then bartender training.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.
