Work alongside your team to complete grounds maintenance for a dedicated route, serving a blend of residential and commercial clients throughout the greater Columbia area.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Operate push mowers and/or zero-turn mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, loppers, and other hand tools on both residential and commercial properties
-Perform routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, hedge trimming, removing leaves and other debris, pulling weeds in mulch or pine straw beds, and applying chemicals as needed
-Safely navigate a 16' box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies while doing so, completing three to ten stops per day, depending on your assigned route
-Use company-provided cell phones and software to communicate with staff and clients throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions, including summer heat
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to pass a SLED background check
- Possession of clean DMV driving history (to be covered under our commercial auto policy)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Schedule & Compensation:
Typically, our maintenance crews work four 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday. Fridays are required if there are properties that still need to be completed for the week, such as due to office closures for rain or holidays. Working hours are from 7am to 5:30pm, which includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
This position pays between $15.00 and $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
