Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner upon check-out.
- Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and procedures as needed.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for upcoming appointments.
- Provide patients with necessary paperwork, receipts, and instructions for follow-up care.
- Ensure accuracy of patient records and update demographic information as needed.
- Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and front desk staff to coordinate patient flow.
- Address patient inquiries regarding scheduling and general practice policies.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in a medical office, customer service, or administrative role preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical scheduling procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
