What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist position at Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery?
The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for maintaining active status for all providers by successfully completing initial and subsequent credentialing packages as required by commercial and government payers. Update each provider’s CAQH database file timely, Maintain accurate provider profiles on CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS databases. Must be organized, have excellent communication, attention to detail and time management skills.
