Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Bon Air, VA, for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the club's facilities, ensuring that all areas are functional and safe for use. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, basic plumbing and carpentry, and general building maintenance to ensure the upkeep of the club's infrastructure. The specialist will collaborate with other team members to address maintenance issues and improve overall facility quality.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Skills in Facility Management (FM) and Preventive Maintenance
- Experience with Building Maintenance, Plumbing, and Carpentry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fitness or recreational facility is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; any technical certifications are a plus
