What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Tool Service Technician / Commissioning Technician position at Midstates Industrial Group?
- We are a CNC Machine Tool Importer of Japanese CNC Machine Tool Line. We are a CNC Machine Tool Distributor in the state of Michigan, We are Machine Tool Automation and Turnkey Integrator Nationally for (4) Major CNC Machine Tool Lines. Our Import division has been in business since 1992, 33 Year in business. Our Integration and Distribution division has been in business since 1999, 26 Years in business.
The right applicant has an extensive understanding of the basic functions of a CNC Machine Tool, Mills and Lathes. With the ability to diagnose and repair a machine tool in the field.
The right applicants day-to-day responsibilities would be:
- Bench top inspection, diagnosis and repair of Mechanical components
- Build mechanical sub-assemblies to print
- Take phone calls and assist our customers in trouble shooting machine tool issues
- If remote, trouble shooting efforts have failed, you must schedule a onsite service call to repair the issue
- CNC Machine Tool Installation in Michigan and throughout North America
- Install & Commission Turnkey equipment shipped from our facility at our customers location
Requirements:
50% Travel
Own Tools
Valid drivers license
Pass drug testing
Work well with teams and individually
Valid to work in the US
Passport for Canadian / Mexico / Japan / Korea / Taiwan Travel
