MIDTOWN CHICAGO is looking for a Seasonal Pool Deck Hosts for the outdoor pool. They will be responsible for elevating the guest experience and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for members. Seasonal employment is from Mid-May to Labor Day.
THE POSITIONS: POOL DECK HOST; LEAD POOL DECK HOST

POOL DECK HOST
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Hand out towels and assist in towel pickup
- Monitor deck chairs in assigned area
- Monitor the pool area to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for guests
- Act as a customer service representative for the club and promote club events, answering member questions and responding to any concerns
- Work with servers and house-keeping to ensure the pool area is clean, clutter-free, and well-maintained at all times
- Assist Lifeguards when emergency action plan is activated (Call 911 if necessary)
- Manage Pool Deck lost & found
- Enforce Pool Deck Etiquette and Youth Area Code
- Other duties as assigned by Aquatics Management Team
- $ 16.50 - $ 18.50/Hour Midtown Employee Membership

LEAD POOL DECK HOST
- Responsible for managing DH rotations and breaks
- Liaison between members and club management
- Point person for all communication to Deck Host Team
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent customer service behavior & hospitality skills
- Ability to work effectively with parents and children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, upbeat, glass-half-full attitude
- Passionate about helping others
- Team player
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Candidates with availability for the complete duration of the season (May 17-Sept 1) preferred
