What You’ll Do as a Business Development Manager

This role combines the thrill of sales with the satisfaction of account management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify New Opportunities: Develop relationships with potential clients through cold calls, emails, in-person meetings, and networking on job boards.
  • Expand Client Relationships: Strengthen partnerships with current clients by addressing challenges, identifying needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Present Solutions: Showcase Midway Staffing’s services to potential clients through polished presentations, trade shows, and other large-scale events.
  • Drive Growth: Create innovative strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales goals, contributing to company profitability.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a deep understanding of light industrial staffing trends to address client questions and anticipate market demands.
  • Collaborate and Adapt: Work closely with the Chief Sales Officer and the broader sales team to refine processes and achieve success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in staffing, with knowledge of account management and recruitment best practices.
  • A knack for building strong relationships and delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Reliable transportation for frequent travel (up to 50%).
