A company in Bensenville, IL is currently looking for a CNC Lathe Set up and Operator Machinist! The ideal candidate will have at latest 3 years experience with lathe set up and operating. Position : CNC Lathe Setup / Operator - Temp-Hire
Location : Bensenville, IL
Shift : 2nd Shift
Pay : $24 depending on experience
Requirements :
- 3 years minimum experience as a CNC Lathe setup and operator. (G-Code, Mazatrol is a plus)
- Ability to do setups required to complete the part, including work holding.
- Ability to calculate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials.
- Must be able to hold tight tolerances. ( / - .0005)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Use blueprints, specifications, job routings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances to plan daily machining.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot problems by taking measurements, adjusting controls, closely monitoring drilling, and cutting.
