We’re looking for a dynamic Production & Inventory Planner to help drive efficiency, manage inventory flow, and ensure seamless production operations. Location : Phoenix, AZ!
Schedule : Monday - Friday / 8 am - 4 pm
Pay rate : $25 - $28
Duties :
- Production Planning : Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and available resources. Ensure production timelines are met and align with business goals.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensuring the availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods without overstocking or stockouts.
- Material Planning : Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies required for production. Track and manage lead times to prevent production delays.
- Forecasting : Analyze sales data, trends, and market conditions to provide accurate demand forecasts, adjusting plans as necessary to meet fluctuations in demand.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth production flow and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Reporting : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, inventory levels, and order fulfillment. Provide regular reports on production status and inventory health.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve inventory turnover.
- Problem Solving : Address production or inventory issues as they arise, proposing solutions to prevent disruptions and ensure continuity in operations.
